I am an undergraduate student at USC advised by Prof. Paul Bogdan. I am fortunate to be working with Dr. Bogdan at the Cyber Physical Systems Group.
My research interests lie in the fields of control systems and machine learning. Specifically, I am interested in designing autonomous systems and improving decision-making under uncertainty.

I am currently working on designing a fixed-wing drone to land autonomously after completing its assigned flight path. I will be using a laser altimeter to measure the altitude from the ground, and based on this information, provide predictions for the safest landing. Previously, I managed to deploy the drone and assign a flight path to it. I continue to work on the design in my free time. Here is a link to my fixed-wing RC plane.
Completed ProjectsIn the summer after my junior year, I joined the Visual Intelligence and Multimedia Analytics Laboratory at the Information Sciences Institute as an undergraduate research intern. I was admitted as an intern to work on a state-of-the-art project for designing a computer vision algorithm for mapping a patient’s facial landmarks while performing radiation therapy. Our aim in this project was to build a facial landmarks detection system using Intel d435i cameras and install it on the TrueBeam radiotherapy system. I proposed a face tracking algorithm and implemented it on the Intel camera from scratch, and the algorithm was able to successfully pass facial landmarks detection tests that our research group performed. I learned the techniques for building reliable algorithms on machine learning platforms like Tensorflow. I utilized computer vision libraries like OpenCV to design the neural network that is responsible for processing real-time camera recording and confirming that the facial landmarks were detected and shaded.
